At Acton’s Early Learning Child Care Centre, we understand that choosing the right child care is both an important and difficult decision. We offer full-time as well as part-time care for all age groups to best suit your family’s needs. Our part-time program consists of two or more full days per week. For part-time the days must be consistent each week. Full-time care consists of 5 days a week. All of our programs have been specifically designed to help children grow and develop in all areas; intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally. In each program, your child will be provided with two nutritious snacks and a homemade lunch made on-site by our chef.

FAQ

  • Is Immunization Required?
    All children attending this centre are required to be fully immunized.
  • Is there nap time?
    Ministry regulations state that there must be a quiet time in the centre each afternoon for all age groups. Children are expected to sleep, rest quietly or engage in quiet activities. Each child will be provided with a cot and parents need to supply their own blanket and pillow. The centre will supply a fitted sheet.
  • Do you accommodate special diets?
    Please inform us at the time of registration if your child has any food allergies or restrictions. Children with documented food restrictions will be required to complete a Food Restriction and Sensitivity Action Plan for their child. Included in this plan are the individual requirements on what foods they can eat off of our menu. We are a nut sensitive centre and ask that parents DO NOT send any food from home with their child; this includes gum, candy, or snacks.
  • Are there any special clothing requirements?
    Indoor and outdoor shoes Extra change of clothing
  • Do the Children go outside?
    Children participate every day in outdoor playtime, weather permitting. One hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon
